First off, please don't turn this into a debate about how (UN)wise it is to send supplementary material........(mine is major).....but anyways, how did you send it? I emailed the admissions office and they request that I use fax...but I don't like to fax things because I just don't like to fax things....anybody else with this predicament? Did you send it by snail mail? Is anybody sending extra supplementary material in the first place? And this isnt' just directed at Princeton people...I'm interested in all ivys...

Well, obviously mines is late, but they said that was fine. It's a winning essay from an international-level contest, I'll leave it at that...

Just answer me someone, have you ever faxed anything to a school? See, I'm very reluctant to do it because I just get a bad feeling....are there any success stories out there regarding faxed material?

haha, don't worry....if they requested fax, then you should probably fax it. I don't like faxing, either, but if you did anything else after they requested a fax, it might come off badly....

If you're really concerned, send an e-mail asking for confirmation after you've faxed your supplement. I've never heard any disaster fax stories - my parents fax things back and forth from our house to their office and it always works out fine.

I once had to fax a copy of my official SAT score report (because they misplaced mine), and it worked out fine. Just ask for a confirmation e-mail.
