<p>I'm Sussex County...yeah. And God, Greek Dance is the most embarrassing thing ever. I regret ever doing it...but my parents, being the Greeks they are...</p>
<p>And ooops, I meant November. They pushed it back for me seeing as how...I'm going to GReece for the summer. --;;;;</p>

<p>And yes, I'm Greek. If you've ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding...well, there's my life compressed into about 1 hour and 45 minutes.</p>

<p>Band...by myself, horn for 8 years, probably sending an audio by time I apply.</p>
<p>Tennis--I suck...really really bad...but its FUN. JV most likely.</p>
<p>Peer counseling (11th graders and up only) then by 12th, being promoted to IB mentors >_>.</p>
<p>AND THAT'S IT. Yale acceptance this year in our senior class had only 2 EC's, really dedicated in them, so that was the proof I needed for the depth not breadth thing.</p>
<p>My school doesn't offer many ECs except sports (it's a smallish private school), so most of mine except the newspaper are outside of school.</p>
<p>Newspaper: Staff writer, editor-to-be if things turn out in my favor (which they likely will).</p>
<p>Horseback riding: 8+ years (will be 10+ by the time I graduate). Not at all competitively, though I've participated and done well in a few smaller shows.</p>
<p>Photography: Darkroom classes outside of school; aiming for a part in local exhibitions (probably one in May)</p>
<p>I'm also working on a novel, but it's not far enough along to merit its own heading. I would have been on varsity tennis, but I couldn't coordinate it with photo and riding. :/ Finally, I'm trying to straighten out my community service (the homeless shelter that I've been in touch with is in a different part of DC and I'm having transportation issues).</p>
<p>As you can probably tell, this is my weakest area ... hopefully I can remedy that in the year I have left before preparing my apps.</p>

<p>I'm also working on a novel, as I have been for several years, but I kept beginning it over and over, each time slightly different (or very different), with multiple characters...Now, I'm working towards finding a way to fuse it all together to inclde the various characters at different points in the story, going along with a single story line...I plan on working on it quite a bit in the summer...It's going to be quite long...It's not like I want to be an author...I want to be a lawyer, but I still enjoy this, and I hope to one day have this published. :) It's a Holocaust novel, but I want it to follow the characters from youth, through the cocentration camps, to life after the war...I've written over fifty pages, and they're only ten years old...When, and if, I ever do finalize it all, just that beginning part will probably be closer to 100 at least...</p>
