This may seem like a dumb question, but in the extracurricular activities and work section of the common app it asks for the grade level in which you participated the activity. If i worked the summer between my sophomore and junior year what grade level would I have to check off?

I would say Junior year. Then again, it’s not like this tiny little detail really matters.

I would also say junior year.

I would say junior year too. I think that a year (such as junior year) includes the school year and the summer before it.

Yeah and I figure that after you graduate you wouldn’t say that this would be your senior year summer? Well thanks for clearing this up everyone.

I would count it as sophomore, but I’m doing that so I can count the stuff I did the summer before my freshman year

^Zombie, I think you have it reversed. Counting it as the school year after allows you to count the summer before freshmen year.

I would say sophmore year, because technically you would not have started junior year yet.
