Extracurricular for Political Science?

Hi guys, I’m planning to major in Poli-sci. Unlike the STEM majors where there are lots of related extracurriculars, I find it extremely difficult to find activities relate to Politics, especially in Vietnam, my home country. Can anyone suggest any ECs for me? I would appreciate it.
The only thing I can think of is Model United Nations.

What do you like to do? ECs should be things you like to do. They do not have to be related to your intended major.

Can you create your own blog about politics? Do you have a school newspaper? Are there any NGOs or community/civil society groups you could volunteer for? If your school doesn’t have a debating society, could you organize an informal one?
Most colleges will not hold a lack of extracurricular opportunities against you. Poli. Sci. is not typically an “impacted” major which students need to be admitted into directly. I would advise you to use your essays to describe your passion and interest in the subject.

I would suggest reading about the topic first- so you can talk about political science knowledgeably- and then branching out from there. Perhaps you could bring a political club to your school? Could you get involved in local political campaigns (I know that that is a popular activity in the US)? Blogging could also be very interesting, and since you are coming from Vietnam you could show a unique perspective that college admissions might find compelling. You could also look at forming an Amnesty International Student Group at your school.
