Extracurriculars, is it enough?

I am a Freshman in High School, usually I get a bunch of A's and some B's, so on the grades side of things, I'm doing pretty well. The main thing I'm worried about, is my extracurriculars. The extracurriculars I currently do are: VP of my highschool's Anime Club, 3rd best runner on my cross country team and 3rd best long distance runner on indoor track and spring track (But I'll be the best next year when the two best guys graduate this year, so I'll probably be captain for the next three years), I tried out for the debate team last week and made it (very excited about that), I'm in French club although not very active, I also do Kinderfrench, which is a branch of French club where High Schoolers go down to the Elementary school every Thursday to teach Kindergardeners French. Lastly, this isn't really an extracurricular as it's still school, but I am going to a local community college this summer to take two college courses.

So my main concern is, are colleges going to look at my extracurriculars and think that I didn't do enough?

Also, if anyone wants to suggest some extracurriculars I could get involved in, four of my main interests are Computer Science, Science, Philosophy, and Journalism.

Firstly, just remember that the most important part of your application is the transcript. Keep those grades up–research schools you’re interested in to get an idea of where you should be.

EC-wise, you have fairly diverse interests. Rather than pursuing each of those, I recommend you pursue debate, Kinderfrench, and running, but try and become excellent at at least one of those. Less important is the sheer quantity of your ECs; the quality and achievement is what shines through.

Thanks for the advice. I really should get that geometry grade up :3
