Extracurriculars Related to Public Policy and Education?

I just began my junior year in high school, and through the current extracurricular activities that I currently pursue, I have realized I am very interested in the fields of public policy, economics, and education reform. I know those three fields are pretty different, but I love being active in my community and making sure that everyone has equal rights and opportunities, particularly in education. I hope to one day major in something related to public policy or education in college, but I wanted to know some extracurricular activities that you guys would suggest related to those areas.

I am currently the director of a non-profit that works for equal educational opportunities, and am a boy-scout, but what are some other activities that I can join to really stand out to colleges and also pursue my passions in policy and education? I found an internship but I want ideas for extracurriculars that I can pursue throughout the year. I really want to make a huge impact on my community in these areas, and any advice would be appreciated! (My dream college is Duke or Columbia)

Hi everyone! I’m really interested in economics and business, and hope to one day maybe pursue a related major in college. I am a current high school junior and was wondering what extracurriculars I can pursue to really stand out to colleges?
