Extracurriculars?

There is a computer club at my school, but it’s nonexistent. They never have meetings and I don’t even know who the presidents are.

I would never judge an EC based on opinions from others. I know that I’m the one who will ultimately decide if I’m truly interested in that EC. Thanks for your opinion though (:

Is it easy to learn a programming language on your own?

All of these are fluff ECs, do something unique, and on your own; most of the previously mentioned ones are thoughtless timesinks.

Life is a thoughtless timesink.
Being a nihilist is fun.

Hey does tutor (younger kids) count as EC? I tutor two kids who don’t even know who Jusus is. They are not stupid just very ignorant. It’s be fun and I earn money too. :)

yes but since you earn money it’s a job (idk if they count as ECs, just other things you do)

Guys, sometimes I fetch stuff for my invalid grandmother. Does this count as a “Helping senior citizen” EC?

sarcasm i hope

Lawl, yeah. I always ignore her.

^Ok that earned major lawlz from me.

Those are just clubs… not strong ECs as anyone can say they are in a club but it is often not a big time commitment.

You have to show you’ve been doing something for a long time or are really good at it (like playing a sport or instrument since elementary school/at high levels of competition) for it to be really meaningful

^I agree with you!
