<p>How important are extracurriculars when transferring? I'm trying to transfer from a CSU to a UC (I know that I am at a huge disadvantage)</p>
<p>That depends on the UC. From what I’ve gathered it’s like this: at Berkeley, they’re kind of important, although GPA is still far more important. At UCLA, they aren’t very important, although they can help. At all the rest, they hardly matter at all. That might not be completely accurate, but that is what common belief seems to be.</p>
<p>Only Berkeley gives serious consideration to UCs, and even then, they themselves state that GPA and pre-req completion are most important.</p>
<p>At UCLA, it only matters a little, if at all. </p>
<p>At the other UCs, they just don’t give a ■■■■, lol.</p>
<p>It’s funny how different the transfer admissions process is from the freshman admission process.</p>
