Extracurriculars

How are my extracurriculars for college? I am currently a junior.

Key Club 3 years (Going to my fourth)
-Freshman: Public Relations (Officer)
-Sophomore: President
-Junior: President

UNICEF 2 years
-Sophomore: Officer
-Junior: Officer

Student Newspaper
-Staff Writer; also became Media Manager, which is a position basically in charge of all online publications.
-Editor-in-Chief for senior year

Chinese School (Saturday School)
-I’ve been attending for a long time now (~10 years).
-Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin; can also read, speak and write (Traditional and Simplified).
-Now, I still attend, though I mostly help classmates (i.e. teaching them how to write, speak and read).
***This Chinese school, however, does not count for high school language credit, since I know a few of these Saturday schools do count.

Work
-2 Summers, Monday - Saturday for 9 hours every day.
-After the two summers, I worked every Saturday after Chinese School, for 7 hours.

I’m not sure if I would include these:

-I have over 200 volunteer hours.
-I’ve also organized one charity banquet event, raising over $1000 for it.
-I’ve also organized another charity event, but it was more of an ongoing event that lasted for a week, and I raised over $500 from this event.

Thanks everyone.

Solid extracurricular résumé. The range of how solid these accomplishments are, granted, will vary according to where you apply for college. For example, these accomplishments are less solid at Harvard while they are more solid at UCLA.

Oh, for Key Club, it works differently than a regular club officer.

I became an officer in Freshman year (March 2013).
I was the public relations officer until February 2014. I became President on February 2014 and I am not one anymore as of today (March 2015).

Is this complicated?

Not at all. I was a Key Club officer myself for a certain number of years. All you need to do is specify the last position you held before graduating or leaving the club.

Thanks!
