Hey I’m an incoming freshman and I’m not so sure about my extracurriculars. So far, I have debate, student congress, model UN, cross country, democratic club, and DECA. Is this too much? I know transitioning into high school is hard, and I really don’t want to overload myself (even though I really want to do all of these clubs). I would really appreciate any advice! Also, did anyone do any of these clubs? Do you have any recommendations? Thanks
It really depends on your school. Normally debate and track take both take up a good chunk of time. I assume Model UN does too. I have no clue about DECA. At our school Democratic Club takes up very little. I would probably eliminate one of debate/track/UN at least.
