volunteer work:
This is where I got screwed! you see b/c I live just with my sister. I had to take care many things that I did not even care before! so I barely achieved minimum range of school limit. 20 hours a year! It is not very impressive and I am confused b/c everyone got like 200hours(holy$#@!) I’m looking for volunteer work at near hospital but b/c I don’t have citizenship and scheduled popular time. I am waiting like 2 month? where should I look next?
What am I going to do?

Yes, I’m a junior, bur very frustrated ;-(
somebody plz! help me

bump bump~

The fact that you live with your sister indicates that doing ECs is probably more difficult for you than for students who live with their parents. Colleges look at each student's personal situation in making a decision about whom to admit.

Just make sure when you apply, that either your GC or your essays reflect the extra responsibilities/burdens/restrictions that you have in your life that many other sudents do not. Don't include this info in a complaining fashion, but to show how you triumph over adversity.
