Doesn't it feel so good when you figure out a math problem or a word problem? It makes me feel that I can do anything in the world. :D! Your thoughts?

Yes

I like challenging math problems and being the only one in my math class to solve a certain problem. Math is very rewarding.

However, if I don't understand how to do a problem, I get really angry and starting hating math lol.

lmfao jman im like that too!
i get really mad and become frustrated and get nuts

What math is everyone in?

Algebra 2/Trigonometry

bleh I never liked algebra or geometry...hah now for some reason I love calculus i sucked it up in geometry too...weird how things change

everyone is in different maths

There is nothing better in the world than figuring out a long, exceedingly difficult math problem with lots of smart-looking symbols like exponents and cosines! That moment of truth when you finally get an answer, and then you look at the answer sheet, scan for number 27, and BAM! You're a freaking genius!

Of course when you're completely wrong it sucks. But hopefully that doesn't happen as often.

Precalculus.

Typically when you get to Differential Equations problems are chock-full of messy algebra and take two sheets of paper apiece, so even if you get them right it's just like "oh thank God, I don't have to do it over again." And of course when you get them wrong, it's like "nooooooooo..."

But I like getting AMC/AIME problems right. Shorter ones, with less gruntwork and more ingenuity. That feels flippin' awesome.

My favorite math problems ever are probably trig proofs.

But, yes, I feel very satisfied when I can solve a difficult math problem by myself. On the other hand, I get really frustrated when I can't solve one.

I'm in Precalculus. I don't really like it that much.

I am much better at Geometry. I got a 97% in that class.

I love Precalculus. It's like Algebra 2. But we're doing it again:p

But I hated Algebra 2, so it's like I'm going through hell again :D . LOL

OHMYGOD! Discrete Math (Advanced Topics in Mathematics) proofs are the worst ever! seriously, like how do u prove that all numbers whose digits add up to a multiple of 3 is divisible by three or the prove that the sum of all the even digits of a number converted to binary minus the sum of all the odd digits is a multiple of three than the original number is a multiple of three. and then there's the ever popular (AUB)UC = AU(BUC). i've had 10 weeks of this class and we've JUST started to use numbers again.

I love calculus but hated Geometry. I suppose I was never a geometry person to begin with but then my teacher was boring and I didn't pay attention in class during the first semester.

We played flag football in the classroom for half a semester in Geometry. =_="
