F in Apchem, will it affect chances of getting into college?

<p>I had a C for apchem my 1st semester but for my 2nd semester I let my grade in the class drop straight down to a F. Will this F affect my chances of getting into college? </p>

<p>I'm still unsure of what I'm going to major in, but it's ridiculous to say that I wanted to major in biochem.. I'm aiming towards CPP or Slo for their biochem programs not their engineering.</p>

<p>Our school has the option to retake a course to null out the previous grade. If your schoooffers somehing like that, I would do it.</p>
