FA and LAC's

Does anyone know how big FA plays in transfer admission to need-aware, top LAC's such as Vassar, Midd, and Wesleyan (to name a few)?

If I were to guess, I'd say it's huge for places like Midd and Bowdoin since they only accept VERY few transfers a year, if any at all.

Vassar, on the other hand, is just a bit unclear. Sure, the transfer rate is still low, but it's MUCH better than 2-4/80. This might just be wishful thinking, but on the website, even though they do say they're need-aware for transfers, they say that it's still only one of many factors into their decision. I'm just confused if they're downplaying FA because they really don't mind it that much or if they're, in reality, making it a huge deal.

I heard AWS probably has enough endowment to be need-blind, but that's based on speculation that I've seen here on CC, not concrete data.

oh and another question: do LAC’s typically favor those from ivies/top 20s/other LACs?

I know for Wesleyan, FA might be a bit difficult given the university’s financial circumstances. They’ve recently removed need blind status for freshmen admissions.
