<p>We're in the process of appealing the amount of aid my daughter received at the school she really wants to attend. Our appeal is based on information that was inaccurate on the PFS. The school won't know until after 4/10 if there is more aid to give. That puts us in an awkward spot. D loves the school and wants to go, but I cannot sign a contract before I hear from them.
Anyone else in a similar position?<br>

<p>Will the school work with you and delay the date for you to sign the contract till you get an answer on your FA appeal?</p>
<p>We had to wait until we received merit scholarship confirmation before we signed the contract. I called the school and they understood so it wasn’t a problem.</p>
<p>I guess the question is - do you have an offer from another school that you would accept if this school does not come through with more FA? If so, that is a problem. If not, then I’m sure the school will extend the contract deadline for you if you ask.<br>
Last year we were FA waitlisted at a school and they were going to extend the deadline for us (we decided to accept an offer elsewhere though so didn’t take them up on the offer).</p>
