FA asking for forms I might not have?

So my financial aid link is telling me that “Further clarification has been requested in order to continue reviewing your 2013-2014 application for financial aid. Correspondence has been sent from the Office of Student Services alerting you of any additional requirements.”

The documents I am still missing are Student IRS 1040 Tax Return, Custodial Business/Farm Supplement, and Custodial Tax Schedule C.

As the student, I do not have to do a Tax Return. My family also does not have a business so I thought that ruled out the second document. For the third one, what is a tax schedule C?

Thank a lot everyone!

Dear fearingcollege : Regarding a Student 1040, there is a document (not an IRS document) that BC requires you to file that states you were not required to file a 1040 for calendar 2012.

Regarding Schedule C, this is a profit/loss statement from a sole proprietorship business. If your family does not have a business, you should not have to file this document. The question to ask is why were these documents being requested of you? Only the financial aid department can supply the details.

I tried to find the student IRS 1040 form but I could not find it anywhere. Do you know where I could find and fill this out?

would this be it?

Dear fearingcollege : Yes, that form does appear to be the correct document.

My daughter is also missing the student income tax 1040 form. I called financial aid office and they said that the student can waive this form after admissions. Further if you click on the highlighted info tab it will tell you that the student can waive this form later on.
