<p>Are you guys serious? You all really got 30 to 40k? Where do you live, Appalachia? Just kidding. But seriously, did Princeton give you more than the difference between cost and the EFC?</p>

<p>S's Dartmouth package was extremely paltry; really hoping he'll get in Princeton off the wait list if they're that generous.</p>

<p>In two cases found here on CC, Princeton gave $9000 more than Dartmouth, and of course the package did not rely on loans either. Seems Princeton uses a different formula than Yale or Dartmouth which evaluates assets differently, esp. home equity. That would help us a lot, because of the ridiculous amount of money town homes now sell for here in NJ.</p>
