<p>on the fafsa there's a place where it asks you what type of aid you want and i checked all types of aid (which included loans), and i was wondering, does checking loans have an effect on whether they GIVE you loans or not because let's say that my mom makes little enough that we can get a lot of financial aid and by me checking loans, does it affect how much they would give me in grants? i dont know if im being clear...idk how to explain it any better</p>
<p>Even though you indicated on your FAFSA that you would be interested in loans, you can still turn down the loans if your situation changes.</p>
