I know that "any other person who resides in the household and receives more than 50% support from the parents may also be counted, as long as they will continue to reside with your parents and the support is expected to continue through June 30, 2012."

However, my question is ...

My aunt, uncle and cousin will be immigrating from China at the end of next month. But they're not here yet, so I put 3 people [my parents and I] down when I submitted my FAFSA yesterday. Was this the correct thing to do?

When they come, they will be living with us and completely reliant upon my family this year for sure. WILL they count for this year's FAFSA? And if they do, will I be able to change it later when we update the FAFSA with the 2010 tax returns?

Also, I'm currently filling out the CSS. I'm assuming it will be proper to put 3 down for that, too?

I'm extremely worried, because my EFC was high ($30,000), and that would've been okay if our household size wasn't doubling next month. My cousin is also looking to go to college when he comes here; whether his English is good enough is another thing, but mainly I'm focusing on the 3 vs 6 people. Will this change in household size affect my EFC?
