<p>If a school's FAFSA deadline is Feb 1st, and you apply corrections to the FAFSA in the middle of Feb, will the school continue to update the info and revise the finaid package or will they create a prelim package from whatever info there is as of the deadline?</p>
<p>Your initial FAFSA will indicate that you're estimating the numbers-- so the school will be expecting an updated FAFSA later. If they give you a premiliinary aid package, it will be dependent on your final FAFSA numbers (they won't complete your aid processing until you update the FAFSA and indicate that the numbers match your '05 taxes). Then when they get the final numbers, they get an adjusted EFC, and they (probably) adjust the aid package accordingly. </p>
<p>But at least you'll have preliminary aid offers to consider from the schools you're accepted to. The adjustment shouldn't be too significant if your estimate was close.</p>
