Here are my questions...

do i need to get a pin again....i have forgotten my pin which i got when my son applied....can i use my son's pin and update my data and then add my daughter with a new app?

do i need to do this fafsa all over again .... enter everything again?

parents who have done fafsa for multiple kids please let us know the procedure.

thanks!!

If you’ve forgotten your PIN you need to request a duplicate PIN. That option is on the left here:

Don’t use your son’s PIN as your own. Your daughter should get her own PIN. As I recall you need to do fafsa from scratch the first time for each kid. In subsequent years you can pull in some basic demographic data but really, almost all the questions need to be looked at and updated each year anyway.

As you do FAFSA it asks if you have a second child you want to complete it for. Same pin for you for both kids. Really the only difference is the student’s earnings and assets.

I took the OP’s post to mean the son was out of college and done with fafsa. But maybe not. In any case you need your own PIN, request a duplicate since you forgot it, and your daughter needs her own. If you’re doing two fafsas in January, the parent info will carry over as twoinanddone says.
