<p>I'm wondering what I am supposed to do when I fill out the FAFSA next year. My legal and birthright mother lives in michigan, and my legal and birthright father lives in Colorado. </p>
<p>However, on the fafsa form, it asks what state do your parents live in. My mom nor my dad have remarried, but they are divoriced. </p>

<p>I think you're supposed to fill it out by which parent you live with most of the time. My parents are divorced buy my mom remarried and the FAFSA people told us to only use information from my mom and stepdad, because the child support that my dad pays counts towards my mom's income or something like that.</p>
