FAFSA question?

<p>I received an email about correcting my parent's tax return status with the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. I have made the corrections and sent them to the schools, but they have said that they have not received them yet. I'm curious about whether the amount of financial aid I can receive will be affected because I just corrected my fafsa, but have submitted my first fafsa application sometime in early January.
