FAFSA: When did I become a legal resident of California?

<p>I'm filing for FAFSA right now. The question for when did I become a legal resident of California is really confsuing me because I've lived here since 2007, legally, but my family received our green cards in August, 2010. </p>

<p>Does that mean that I need to put in the date I entered California or the date I got my green card?</p>

<p>That would be the date you started living in CA.</p>
