When you fill out the FAFSA, you decide which schools
you are applying to...but you can only choose a few...
and once the FAFSA is processed, then it is sent
to the colleges, right?? Or do I have to
request it to be sent again??

Select up to 6 colleges when you complete FAFSA. Submit it, and it will take a few days to be processed, and it will then be available to those schools. You can then go in and do a correction to add more schools if needed, and resubmit.

So those schools would receive the FAFSA information
automatically?

You choose the schools to which you want the FAFSA to be submitted. When you submit, those schools are the places you are submitting to. FAFSA is a form...it is used to compute certain types of need based aid. The computation is done by the colleges, not by "FAFSA". SO...when you choose the colleges and submit, you are sending or submitting this info so it can be sent to the colleges you indicated on the form.

Thanks for the info!!
