can you get a refund?? i didnt think so

no you can't.. not unless you cancel early ($14 to cancel test beforehand).. but $84 now can later save a few hundred.. i think you might as well give it a shot

actually, my test is on the 23rd (due to stupidity by my Cordinator who ordered too little booklets)

Anyone have a score I should be aiming for for a 3? (Ie: # right on MC and FR)

If you have until the 23rd then I recommend going to CBs website FRQs from past years and look at the Student Performance Q & A, which gives valuable info as to what the scorers were looking for in a ? and what students included/omitted in their responses. Please PM me if u have trouble finding it!

I don't understand why you want to know the minimum number of questions to get right to get a 3... so then you can reach that exact number in practice and stop studying?

If you have until the 23rd, there is no reason whatsoever for you to aim to achieve anything less than a 5. Whether or not you receive a 5 is a whole other matter, but you should study from now until then and aim to get as much correct as possible, every time.

But always, always try and take the test. For all you know, half the FRQ might very well be on a topic you know intimately well, or that one topic which gives you the greatest challenge might not be featured. Unless you're a sophomore or junior and you already agreed to submit scores to a college (though why, I do not understand), you'll be fine. You submit a final score report during your senior year which doesn't arrive until well after your acceptance... they will of course compare your self-reported scores to the score report, but that's all.

Not worth taking if you don't get a 4 or higher. In all honesty it just makes you look bad. You can always try it and make up an excuse later.
