Lets say you get a 2 on an AP test, is it better to not write it on an appication?

if it doesnt require u to report it, dont mention it..

Threes are considered bad.. Twos are really horrible...
Don't mention your failure..

How did you manage to score so low?
What exam was it??

Colleges understand that to get a 2, you need to score something less than 40%

You don't have to report it, and you can cancel the score ( though that costs $5 or so)

You can cancel a score after you receive it?

oh i havent gotten a 2, im just saying...incase i do

You don't have to report it. I wouldn't. I would hide it. I wouldn't even report a 3.

The $5 fee removes a score from your official AP score report sent to a particular school. (It still is on your official record, but the report sent to that school doesnt have the particular score). However, you dont need to send an official score report to colleges until you enroll (for credit/placement), so the payment is worthless.

tanman, you are correct. But there is also an option to remove the score from your reccord. I am not sure if it costs money, and how much. Once removed, you can never bring it back though.
