Well not really, I'm an undergrad at the university at Albany. I took a 101 spanish class as Pass/Fail and I failed it. Mostly because of attendance but that's not important. It doesn't average into my GPA and I have a 4.0. I'm a History major and I'm really wondering how much this giant U on my transcript will affect my chances for law school?

I'm probably just worrying for nothing but I would like to know if this will hurt my chances at all or if it's just insignificant?

The difference between a 4.0 and 3.6 is gigantic – large enough that it might determine whether it’s wise for you to go to law school at all. Go to your advisors and see if there’s any way in the world you can retake that course and get the U off of your transcript.
