Hello! Well, I took my AP Calculus exam today, and even though I've studied like crazy and have been able to do the practice problems in my books relatively easily, I got to the exam and went blank. For whatever reason, I couldn't make sense of half the problems and will no doubt get an awful score. (I'll be lucky if I get a 3)

Anywho. Question is, now that I have all this knowledge, should I take the CLEP test so I can get college credit? If you pass the CLEP, do you get the same amount of credits you would for an AP? Sorry if these are really obvious questions, I'm just tired and frusturated and hoping I didn't bust my butt for nothing.

Edit: Oh, and Ap Physics is coming up which I have a feeling will turn out the same, can I clep that too?

Each college makes its own rules regarding CLEP exams…which ones they accept and the score required for credit. Calculus seems to be one of the CLEPs most likely to be accepted, but check with your college first. Most colleges have a page on their websites showing course equivalencies for CLEP.

I would not recommend taking the Calculus CLEP until you do well on CLEP practice tests. Check the FAQ page on this website for information about Sample Tests, and look at the Accelerated Study page for information on resources.
