Failed Dual Credit Course

I have failed a Dual Credit Psychology course and it is not a required course for graduation. It is only an elective course, but I was wondering if it would affect my college admission chances. I am in the top quarter in my class and I have always taken advanced placement classes, if not pre-ap and have been successful. It is my only failing course and I do not have any other dual credit courses on record. Have any opinions? Also, do I still need to send in my transcript from the college?

Thank you!

Is the grade already recorded? Is there any possibility of withdrawing from the class with a W instead?

No. This was in the spring semester. It is the only dual credit course I have taken and will take. I was advised that I only have to turn in my high school transcript because I did not receive any credit.

I’m afraid that’s not true. It was a class. It will be on your transcript. You need to send it in.
