Failing a class in community college during pandemic whilst trying to transfer.

I am about to fail my philosophy class this thursday(Great!). We’ve only met physically for about 6 times before the pandemic started. The switch to online class was horrible. It was super hard to understand him and he had a tantrum calling us all stupid and idiots. He has recently been putting in fake quiz grades which range from a 4/5 to a 3/6 which makes no sense cause we literally didn’t take any quizzes since the quarantine. He’s also mocked me on my writing and said that i should go to the school’s writing center because my writing is horrible (How the f*** am I going to do that when they’re closed?). I’m a very skilled writer in my opinion and once he emailed that I was done. I’m about to fail and submit a academic renewal form to make up for this horrible class. I am wondering if anyone else is going through the same thing. And I am also curious to know if it is possible to transfer to a CSU with an F on my transcript. ( I am planning on going to sac state).

If it isn’t too late to drop this class and get a W, do that.

All of the tutoring centers at the CC where I teach in Maryland have remained open in remote status. Students meet with their tutors in Zoom. Perhaps the tutoring center at your CC also has been open, but you just didn’t know.

You need to communicate with the Transfer Advisor at your CC and ask the correct steps to take to be able to transfer to Sac State.

unfortunately the deadline to drop was 5 days ago and I wasn’t aware that the W’s would be excused. I guess im just going to have to take that F and repeat it:(
