I am taking a math class in my senior year. Math was never my strong suit but I am in between a rock and a hard place. With the end growing near my grade slowly falls. I have a 72% and the teacher sometimes grade the work but sometimes he doesn’t. I feel as the second semester hit I didn’t learn anything but just sat there bewildered. The rest of my grades (English, Accounting, Art, Culinary, Writing etc.) are doing well and have all year but I am concerned about is if I fail this math class is it possible for me to retake high school or do I just fail. I haven’t taken my final which is my main fear but I just want some input on what some people think.
You risk being rescinded from your college with an F so work super hard to get that grade up. Go to tutoring, talk to your teacher, do study problems, look on line at Khan Academy videos and questions, etc… There should be an opportunity to retake it over the summer as a last resort.
Yes… really really try to get this up to a C. What you are doing isn’t working. Get extra help…tutors, teacher help ours, study groups, Khan Academy online. Also you may not graduate.
Here are tips.
