Failing Pass/No Pass

Hey all,
Does anything happen if i fail a pass/no pass class? If i don't need the units can it come back and hurt me? THanks

Nothing happens, can't hurt unless you're borderline on something.

Yes, It CAN come back and hurt you if you don't pass. Pass/No Pass classes don't affect your GPA right now, but once you graduate all your No Pass turns into a F grade....

P/NP classes are weighted so lightly, most are only 1 and 2 units so F's won't change your GPA at all considering your weight is on 180 units. It's like very slightly you have to be on a borderline. Nobody even cares about it + you don't even need the units, so you're fine.

Thanks! Also, it's too late to drop a class now w/o marks right? My pass/nopass class was an engineering seminar helping me figure out what to do but now i already figured out what field i want to go in so it's kind of waste for me now.
