She is in! Nursing - but only 23k
WOW FU is expensive.

My son is in too, 20K Loyola.

Daughter got deferred. They want her to demonstrate more interest apparently
.

Son is in too, GPA 3.8, SAT 1370: Loyola Scholarship 20K. Wish it made more of a dent on COA

accepted, 23k!

Sorry to hear. But remember “deferred” is not “no”! Since no “Why Fairfield?” essay wasn’t necessary for application, it’s easy to write something without being repetitive. Have your daughter really think that through, do thorough research on the school, and write down specific reasons why Fairfield is a good fit for her AND she’s a good fit for Fairfield. Best of luck!

There was a “Why Fairfield” supplement?

My daughter is in too. 3.5 W GPA, Test Optional, 2 honors, 1 AP, 1 college course, lots of EC’s with leadership, strong essay, showed a ton of interested. Received $15K per year scholarship. Still super expensive.

No, there was no supplemental essay.

Son got in! 3.8uw/4.1w, 1480 SAT

Agree that I wish it made a bigger dent in COA, seems like a fun school

Sorry to be naive, but is that scholarship $23k per year ($92k total)?

I meant that since there was NO “why Fairfield?” essay required, it would be easy to write something now without being repetitive.

D23 got in, also accepted to honors. ACT 33, GPA 3.98 UW, full IB. 28k merit, but we’re waiting on tuition exchange, 28k won’t cut it, still too expensive.

Yes, those are all per year scholarships.

Yes. His says he needs to maintain a 2.8 GPA each year to get the scholarship renewed.
