i got my fake confiscated at a c-town convenience store. im a freshman- it had a fake address, etc, but my real name. when the owner said he wasn't giving it back, he threatened to call the cops, but i just left.

im hoping he just tosses it but if he hands it over to the cops, how f'd am i?

I'm betting it was the store on the corner of Dryden and Eddy. It's fine, he doesn't call the cops. He actually showed a friend of mine his entire collection of confiscated ids once.

its my pic and name, different address. eugh im just going to have to wait it out i guess. it's gonna suck. i dont even drink that much but my 'thoughtful' buddy convinced me my card would work in ithaca and we were gonna throw back a couple brews after a tough prelim week. im doubting that it is uncommon for this kind of thing to happen around here so im just hoping.

haha "um no...plenty of kids just get older kids to buy booze for them"

wouldn't say that is the easiest thing, either. when i was underage my friends and i tended to sway on the alcoholic side, lol, and on the weekend when we finally found someone who didn't get annoyed or actually gave a **** (even older "friends") to buy us a bottle or two, we'd have the same problem the next weekend. it was quite a pain in the ass to get a little sip on. now that i'm on the other side, i must say, it does get quite annoying for people to ask you to buy booze for them. it's much easier to take care of one's own needs (or in this case, desires, i guess) by oneself.
