Hello Undecided,

I am transferring to Berkeley in the fall as an English major, and also am interested in the medieval period. I'm happy to see another English major here! Maybe you can help me pick my classes... :)

The L&S department recommends that transfers only take the minimum units the first semester. However, Berkeley is not accepting any of the major preparation classes from my JC, so I would prefer to take a full course load. Is this manageable considering that I will be completely unfamiliar with the campus? How heavy is the typical reading load with four lit classes?

Here are is my tentative schedule, but let me know if you have any suggestions

English 45B
English 45C (maybe)
English 117A or 117S: Shakespeare
English 105: Anglo-Saxon England

Thank you!
