Fall 2009 tranfers

sarah786,

I got my acceptance letter 2 days after they changed my status to “We have reviewed your application. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made.” I live right next to UW tho…

Also, the unofficial transcript method did not work for me. I took the UW summer program during 2007, so they only display the old information in the unofficial transcript.
I was VERY upset because I thought I didn’t get in…(no new student info. displaied)

However, I have my acceptance letter now!! woohoooo~~~

are any of you guys out there who are still waiting for your letters?

what is the unofficial transcript method? and did any of you transfer from a 4 year university?

sunny,

The unofficial transcript method is just a way of finding out if you are accepted before actually receiving your acceptance letter. Basically if it pops up you are in.

To find it sign into MyUW, click on the “student” tab then “unofficial transcript” in one of the columns.

Oh, this method only works for those who have not attended UW in the past, as they will already have an unofficial transcript.

Hope this helps.

So if my status is “We have reviewed your application. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made.” and there isn’t an unofficial transcript, I didn’t get accepted? (I haven’t attended UW before).

Did the wording of your status just change? When the wording of my status changed to what yours says now I received an acceptance letter a couple days later. I didn’t immediately check my unofficial transcript though as didn’t know about the method at the time.

The notification period for fall transfer students is June-July so they are probably still busy.

Yeah, it just changed yesterday. But I read somewhere that if you get accepted, it’ll change as soon as your status changes.

sorry to say but that pretty much means you didn’t get in. My transcript didn’t load either and I didn’t get in…
