Fall 2010

Anyone out there accepted for fall 2010? Questions/comments? Major?

ya…im accepted for aerospace engineering w/ concentration in astronautics.

Same here. Where are you from? What dorm did you pick?

I have been accepted with to aerospace engineer. I am not sure of the concentration but I assume it’s in propulsion

I have a lot of questions.

Are you going to the open house in April? Have you visited campus? I live close to Daytona and have visited ERAU several times so I can probably answer some general questions.
I have a feeling their financial aid package is going to suck.

My major will be Air control management. Still holding out for the nrotc scholarship to transfer over

Good luck! Ive been reading on serviceacademyforums that the ROTC scholarships are really hard to get this year. Have you visited the ERAU unit?

How many females are at the beach? Yes I am very uncomfortable with meatfest.

Another thing is how do you decide which hall you want most?

How good is there financial aid? Why do you think it would be crappy?

Our son was accepted into Aerospace Engineering with an Embry-Riddle Scholar scholarship, although he does not plan to attend.

He has received a 4-year NROTC scholarship to VA Tech along with an Emerging Leader sholarship (toward R&B) and is still waiting for appointment to the Naval Academy. ER was/is his third choice.

We visited ER and our son like it very much. We are from MD, but grandparents live down the road from ER (about 8 miles), so that was a plus. As our son is a diatance runner, his thought was that he could run to Nana’s for a home-cooked meal. ;-)

thanks , I had erau as my 1st choice for rotc scholarship, but it got sent to my 2nd choice school… which is very frustrating. If it doesnt get transfered then worst case ill just reapply after my freshman year. Still holding out for the Academy though.

DD accepted for fall 2010, ME. She visited campus last week, got a great tour, talked with awesome Dr. Reinholtz, and shadowed a student. She LOVES it! Since we live in Boston the whole transportation thing adds a new financial concern for us.

Good Luck to everyone with their decisions.
