why do i have to wait a minute between posts?

@Matrix123, thanks :)

does anyone know between what time they are calling people?

@toosie after school most likely between 3:00pm-6:00pm

Why is UCSD going to be calling people?

Some admittees received notice of admission by phone last night. It’s believed calls will be made all week and on-line decisions will post end of the week of this weekend.

Anyone receive a phone call yet who lives in San Diego?

Why are they notifying people by calling them? That’s so stupid.

arg can’t they just email us and then do the whole call-a-thon

that way we could ask lovely questions like “Do you like pi” or something related to UCSD?

@mickjagger and @spatel23 - The idea of calling is nice in that it adds that personal touch which is lacking from the on-line process employed by the UCs. But I agree, it would be nice since they seem to know who is know in if they would post and then make the calls rather than leaving us all in limbo for a week while calls are made. :(

It’d be horrible if UCSD called and someone joked that you didn’t get in. :(

^^ That would be criminal.

It’d be even more horrible if someone called and joked that you get in and then you find out it is a prank from your classmate.

Do we know for sure how long they’re going to be making calls? Friday, maybe?

I am suffering a mental meltdown like those nuclear power plant in Japan …

theleakers - are you in state?

leakers, you don’t have school?!

yes, Los Angeles …
does it make a difference, how many points do I get for in-state
if I don’t hear from them soon, I will be in-sane …

between classes …

how are you two posting?! LOL
