<p>it’s my last semester actually. yeah, i got a little sentimental, but more happy than anything. school sucks dude.</p>

<p>on a side note, the IB offerings next semester are weak (don’t tell Nancy I said that). (But then again the offerings most fall’s are weak)</p>

<p>sigh… I remember when I was an incoming freshman, reading these forum posts and eagerly waiting to take classes. Now, it’s going to be my last year. I totally know how some of you guys feel… It’s sad :(</p>

<p>So to the upcoming seniors:
Have you guys received internship offers or done internships yet? What do you guys think of it; if not internships, have you guys began preparing for MedSchool Apps?</p>

<p>For me: i just received a REU offer and i just realized that the stipend (which really is NOTHING) is going to be enough to pay for my last years’ rent; and i just couldn’t believe that my time at Cal is pretty much over, that no one looks at the grades after this summer semester (for PhD programs), and that the courses are a lot easier than the junior year courses. </p>

<p>Does moving on scare you? i could never have imagined a life after Berkeley (literally) never would have thought about it, but its over and i genuinely have no idea what’s next. Like in high school i thought college life was like American Pie and the show “How I Met your mother”, but it’s really not that shallow and easy, no one tells you that you have to push yourself in ways you never would have thought possible; what do you guys look forward to in the upcoming year?</p>

<p>@Spontaneity: Have you considered a double major or simultaneous degree?</p>

<p>@weebly. I have often considered it, but then I usually realize I would much prefer just taking chemistry courses, so I think I’ve decided if I finish early I’ll just take a bunch of graduate courses and focus on research.</p>

<p>(And maybe enjoy college during my senior year! Hah!)</p>
