Fall 2013 Decisions

does anyone know if uw will be sending out decisions today?

not sure. i was thinking the same thing but i know that tulane admissions is closed until Monday. it’s possible uw madison does the same. not positive

Do they release decisions every Friday and Saturday night?

I heard they send majority out Friday night but I do know someone who was accepted on a Monday.

Anyone hear last week? Seems there were no decisions posted. I am assuming the admission counselors review applications daily though. Do they just post the decisions every Friday it seems?

that’s what it seems like even though it makes no sense. maybe it depends on the counselor? not sure because one of my friends was admitted on a Monday. so who knows-the system does not make sense

Thanks Madison85, I will apply right away

and Congrats! - Clay03: also, I see that you participated in the PEOPLE program at UW; I believe that program also has a scholarship.

andreadel and clay03: Did you just get your acceptance news? What day did you submit your application and what day did you hear the good news? Congratulations and thanks!

Thanks! I submitted my application on October 6th and I got the acceptance last night.

Thanks tpakeltis, I submitted the application on 10/29 and got the acceptance on 11/26

Madison85, yes I participated in the people program, not sure if I can get both The People Scholarship and Chancellors since the only difference is the book stipend.

Anyone from NJ?

Thanks andreadel and clay03 for sharing. So hypothetically speaking and based on this very small sample size, if someone applied on October 27th, they could potentially hear anytime between now and three weeks from now.

How long is the admissions office closed during the holidays?

It depends on who your admissions counselor is and when hey send out decisions for your high school If you applied before November 1st no matter when your application was sent in, you have to think that you can hear anytime between now and end of January.

heyy so i forgot my username and/or password. do i need them to see my decision or does it say in the email if i got in? i know ill have to call and get it eventually, but it would be a bummer if the decision came like, tomorrow and i couldnt sign in to see it :P
