Guille19 i just saw your stats on another thread and they are not low. and americans do not hate latinos, in fact, that is considered a “hook” as some say in many colleges, including trinity which i think is looking for some diversity. and like the others say, numerical stats are not everything, the best applicant gets in

@alisiddiqui94 @whiteout13 Thanks for the optimism, but I just have a feeling that I will be rejected. I applied for FA and I read in a post that doing this reduces your chances of getting admitted. Besides, I’m poor (I’m from El Salvador) and my parents can only pay $5000 each year. I was dreaming of asking for a $10k loan with them but my dad got a financial crisis in the past and because of that he asked for a bank loan; however he couldn’t payed the loan completely that he’s in the “black list” of all the banks, and he’s considered a risky loaner that not a single bank is willing to give him money.

Lol I’m sorry to mention my personal problems here.
I just want to say to all international students that you all can get in! At least one competition is out of the fight lol.

Got in ED 2! :)

@Guille19
Dude you’re a latino with decent to good test scores and from a low income family (which is actually good). You might want to start thinking about how you are going to pay for college because you’re pretty much a shoe in at this school. Only thing that might be hurting you is your international status, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Thanks @TylerNark

I know that my stats aren’t that bad (but they’re not good either. They’re regular).
I could get in to the colleges I have in mind.

The thing is I can’t pay for college. That why I applied to Trinity because of Financial Aid. But because I did that my chances of getting admitted are so low.

Anyways, thanks, and we’ll see how it goes. Dudes and girls must be annoyed I’m using this thread for the wrong purposes.

Again, good luck everyone!

@venkatasuha congratulations man mind sharing your stats and financial aid you got if any

See the thread I created titled “ED1/ED2/RD accepted students” thread to view my stats.
As for financial aid,I received 37k in grant and 5k in loan.

its almost march. almost time for us!
i really hope i get in, and i really hope i find good friends there. the stories of racism and class differences really scare me. (most) of my friends right now are minorities and lower income folks like myself. i come from a blue collar town

if you are reading this right now, you are probably someone applying to Trinity or thinking about applying/know someone, etc. If you are not white, have no fear. some brave people like you and me have to get in there and turn that school from preppy white to multicultural (if you and i get in) and besides there are plenty of minorities there anyway, so i’ve heard. my senior interviewer claimed she thought the school was diverse.

so if you get into Trinity, and the only thing you are afraid of is fitting in, Don’t be! Go! im telling myself the same thing. and if i get an acceptance letter, i hope i remember that

^I second you.
I’m too late into this discussuion but I am one of you.
Country: India
SAT: 2050 (highest on one sitting), 2100 (if superscored)
SAT2: Math2 800, Phy 780, Chem 750
TOEFL: 109
Applied for FA
My worry is that I haven’t sent my SAT scores to Trinity. I have sent only SAT2 and TOEFL scores.

I have a friend who applied to Trinity.
SAT: 2000 (highest on one sitting), 2030 (superscore)
SAT2: Math2 800, Phy 760, Chem 750
TOEFL: 108
Applied for FA.
The difference is that he sent the SAT scores too.

Do you guys think I should send my SAT scores now? Does this make any difference?

This is on their website:
I was schooled in English and I felt my SAT is too low. So I haven’t sent my SAT scores.

@hopingforbetter I think you should sent your SAT score because it is well within range of Trinity but the deadline of sending the score is passed I think check with their website.

Hey guys decisions will be announced on 27th March which means only a month left. Best of luck everyone.

@ hopingforbetter- Yeah, you should send your SAT score to trinity. It is well within the range of Trinity!!

@alisiddiqui- I think the decision date is 26th march. Btw, where did you find this date?

Hopingforbetter- But, yeah, it is now quite late man!! Which course do you intend to take at Trinity?

Probably Engineering! Ya I know the date of sending scores has passed. Okay however I’ll send them and pray that they look at my scores. But are my scores really in range? I mean, we are international, right? That too I got 590CR:( 770M 740W.

I’ll first have to get accepted and then after going there, if I feel engineering isn’t good, then I’ll take up Physics and Mathematics!!

Yeah, the only problem is CR. The other two scores are well within the range. Same problem is with me as well. I have 580 CR only. The other two sections are good. I hope our TOEFL scores compensate for the low reading score. Anyways, best of luck to us. Hope, we get in!!

Trinity usually forgives a weak CR score, though I will never understand why people find it hard. It’s actually my favorite part of the SAT.

@SAT456 here’s the link: [Application Status](http://www.trincoll.edu/Admissions/apply/Pages/Status.aspx)
btw did you got your Drexel decision yet?

Guys I am sorry for this annoyance. I am confused::
Should I rush my SAT scores or just report them normally?
