Fall 2015 ChE PhD Chances

I am going to apply Chemical engineering PhD program for Fall 2015. I am an international student
Here are Statistics:
overall GPA: 3.49/4.00 (University of Wisconsin Madison)
Major GPA: about the same
GRE: 317 Total, Q 160 V 157, (will retake GRE soon, screw up math test section. Math should be better this time)
Research: 2 years- research under one CBE Professor with the bio track
Awards and Honors: Dean Honor list 6/8 semesters
Honors in Research (CBE 489)
Recommendation: One from professor of my research group, one from CBE professor, another from chemistry professor.

I had extensive research as undergraduate with 10+ credits taken. But this kind of affect my GPA a lot because of too much time spent on experiment. The research of bioengineering is very time consuming, and I kind of regretting choosing this research area.
What are my chances for getting into the following PhD program ChE .
Rice
TAMU
U Chicago
LSU
UVA
U Pittsburgh
Colorado school of mines
Auburn
U HOUSTON
UC-Riverside

Any Recommendation? Thanks for the input!

You should do your research more carefully, University of Chicago does not have a Chemical Engineering program. They have something they call Molecular Engineering but it is not a traditional engineering program.

Apart form that, you have reasonable chances of getting into a number of the schools you list. You really need to get your GRE scores a bit higher up though.

Thanks! I will retake GRE next week, and I believe I will do much better on Q. I am more worried about my GPA though.

A 3.49 GPA in engineering is respectable. The schools you list are good but not all highly selective. If your GRE is stronger, you should be able to get into several of them.
