@lindseyyhill1 I transferred as a junior! The comm department is great and I am sure you will be good in any major. Is there any reason why you want to switch to comm?
Yes, most transfers I met live on campus! I ended up living off campus because I had already had the dorm freshman experience and couldnt imagine eating cafeteria food again. But most of my transfer friends live on campus because its their first time living in a dorm and i feel like they made more friends than me and they are all closer to each other than what I am to them (which is fine, not trying to sound bitter haha). Dont live on panther village, it is farther away and parking is a nightmare. You either have a spot at panther village or a commuter parking pass, not both. so you are stuck taking the shuttle while your car is parked there.
Most of my transfer friends also rushed. A lot ended up dropping because they didnt like their choices but around 3 of us got into our top choices. Sororities have nothing against transfers but they usually have limited spots for juniors. As a sophomore I wouldnt worry.

I applied to the creative producing program on March 14th. I know the film production program is super competitive and their most impacted majorette Dodge, so the fact that you got an interview should be a really good sign!

My student portal went from “decision pending” to “decision reached” today. I checked out the Chapman tumblr page and someone else’s portal also changed today. They said we should hear a response within the next 5 days.
