@lchik Its for transfer students. I know because I went to that conference 2 years in a row. Last year I went to the admitted students workshop and they gave me a free UCLA waterbottle and backpack

@lchik in 2011 i believe it was on May 6th. Last year it was on April 24th, year before that on April 25th. In every case admissions came out 1 week earlier.
Oh SHIT, The conference was in May 2011!!!
However, this year this conference will be organized on 29th April, which is one week earlier than the last time when April had 5 weeks…
So, if everything is moved one week earlier, that means transfer decisions for this year will be tonight, no joke …!!

@lchik dude, its not tonight. haha. If it was, there would be confirmation by someone already. Youll know in an hour, because the decision website always goes down 1 hour before decisions are released.

No, the deadline to register was one week before (4/27/2016) on 2011. According to this logic, then the registration deadline for the same conference this year will be 20th…

its for sure 22nd or 29th. I thought itd be 22nd, but I feel like the amount of applicants this year can make 29th a possibility.
At least two people have said that they called admissions and were told either “in two weeks” or “the very last week,” both of which imply April 29.
But STOMP conference is April 29th and they have admitted transfer student panels & what not… so UCLA has to get to us before the 29th! I’m guessing the 22nd we will face our FATE!
@itzidlt But STOMP conference typically gives one week for students to register every year. So I’m guessing it might, MIGHT be tonight.
Sorry, my bad, its wrong. This year’s deadline is Apr 27…, which is different from previous years. So I suppose the reason they make that is because they post decisions late this year
