@falltransfer1 That she didnt specify. I assume she means by the end of April as all non cooperative admissions people say
Did anyone get the UCLA Alumni Scholarship email a few months ago? I hear if you got it, then you are the top 10% of applicants!
Hi guys, I’m an president’s ambassador of my cc and I was talking with my superintendent-president yesterday and he says it comes out April 22nd for UCLA. p.s. He’s also a UC Regent.
Let me put your minds at ease. My cccp mentor said that ucla will release decisions on Friday April 22 at 5 pm tentatively. Everyone will first receive an email to check the portal.
@lovinblnk182 I’m part of CCCP too! What program were you in?
Oh man. I remember the last week. The week before my decision came out was the longest week of my life. Completely worth my wait though hehe. Cant believe its been a year.
Kinda surprised though… last year it was the 17th, one would assume they would do it the 15th this year.
@Salmanthgr8 are you a student at UCLA now? If so, how was the whole transferring process?
Does anyone know when will UCLA results be out this year for transfer? I called them today (4/15/2016) and they said it is going to be out on the last week. I wonder if it’s real, but it might be logical because they will increase significantly number of admitted students this year, which gives them more time needed for reviewing.
Any anyone know my chances?

@imabejulia I got the email. Are you joking? Top 10% because of the email? Who told u
@foreverwmt Yeah, im a student here now. After I got accepted, it was really stressful because I got 2 Cs my last quarter before transferring, and I had to send them an update. For a few days I was stressed whether my offer would get rescinded or not. I was considering cancelling my SIR and going to UCI. But I got notified that my admission still stands.
After that the whole process was pretty easy. I applied for housing, took a couple summer classes to get a gist of the whole system. Orientation day was pretty fun, but stressful. First quarter, my gpa took a hit and I barely managed to pass all my classes. However, Winter quarter was much better.
And if you live on the hill, prepare for the greatest leg workout of your life
@lchik are you missing all of o chem? That will be a problem. However, if just 2nd semester, you have a good chance.
@Salmanthgr8 What are you majoring in and how many courses did you take in that first quarter? I’m very curious about the whole adjustment from semester to quarter.
@Salmanthgr8 Yes but I have a solid reason. Anyways I dont want to think about it anymore…
HEY EVERYONE, WHAT IF IT IS REAL AND WE ALL RECEIVE THE ADMISSION DECISIONS TONIGHT!? COM’ON, ITS 4/15
@Oldhopeful I am majoring in Psychobiology. First quarter I took Chem 30B, Psych 100B, and Neuro 101A (15 units total). Probably not a good idea I know. I would say keep it 12-13 units your first quarter. And definitely do not start studying the night before, or even 2-3 nights before an exam. After your first day of lecture, you need to hit the books hard. Keep up with the material. First midterms start week 3-4 of every quarter. Literally, you finish your first week at UCLA, and you already can say you have midterms next week. It goes really fast.
@lchik If its not today, it will be next week. I know this because the STOMP transfer conference is on the 29th of April, and at the conference they have a workshop for “Newly admitted students”. Why would they have that?
@Salmanthgr8 Wait, do you mean newly admitted students or newly admitted transfer students lol…
What do you think are the chances of tonight @ 5pm?
OMG THE DECISION WEBSITE IS DOWN… AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Lol. Tr0lled.
@Salmanthgr8 Sounds intense. I’m a little nervous about the pace and the jump in difficulty compared to CC. I have horrible study habits, as in I basically don’t do so. I can get away with that at the moment, but I know I won’t be able to at the next level. I’m a history major. I hope I can adjust quickly, if I’m accepted.
