Should have said 100 level and above.
Your best bet is to go to assist and check that the course is UC-transferable.
Choose your CCC and any UC, then do not choose a major. Instead, go to far bottom of page and click on “UC Transferable Courses.”
Thank you !! I shall get on that
@5nonnegotiables thanks!
also to you or anyone else seeing this, will it look bad if i drop the class and take the w, BUT register in an online late start class?? so i’ll still have 60 credits. the only problem i have w it is that it’s at another school, so will that be weird??? same district though.
the admission site is down it getting to the wire guys
It’s down for Freshman applicants @“osazuwa ogbeide”
it should just be freshman…right?
Should be only Freshman today. Ucla doesn’t do early notifications for transfers usually
so i just went over my application and i forgot to put my household income OMG!! will that affect me?? should i call the school and let them know?
Income is optional.
It’s only to see if you qualify for a fee waiver (and maybe scholarships). It’s totally separate from the FAFSA. @juliamarie15
oh phew! thanks! but i also didn’t fill out fafsa, sadly i don’t qualify for even a tissue to wipe my tuition tears will that ultimately hurt my admission chances??
@juliamarie15 no! FASFA has no correlation to your admissions decision, don’t worry!
Does anyone know around what date transfer admission letters are supposed to come out? Mid-April?
April 21st at 5 PM
@madmarky10
This website (http://admitguide.com/) lists april 22. I don’t know how reliable it is, so don’t quote me on it.
On a different subject, I recently got into Michigan as a transfer, and I was wondering how much more difficult it is to get into UCLA and UC Berkeley by comparison. Does anyone have any impressions?
wow so multiple brain farts on my end today but I indicated on my application that I would be TAP certified but my honors counselor failed to mention that 30% of the honors courses that were made available would be cut and that definitely screwed up me not being tap certified. As well as not telling me I can only take a certain amount of honors units per semester, so right now I’m at about 10 instead of 15. Will they see that I was not TAP certified because of my honors units fall below 15 and take that into consideration or will they still count met as TAP since I put it on the application and Im taking honors units. I’m freaking out because on the upside that they do admit me and completing 15 honors units will be a requirement for my start in the fall, and the decision will be withdrawn on their end. Any help would be much appreciated!
@juliamarie15 at my daughter’s CCC, the honors advisor for TAP had to fill out an extra form and send to UCLA, certifying courses toward completing TAP requirements. This happened in February of the year she was admitted.
Perhaps you should send an email to Admissions.
@juliamarie15 since you didn’t complete TAP there will be no form submitted to UCLA. UCLA works off the CCC verification form submitted in Feb. In fact, they will have sent an email to the CCC advisors around Jan with every student listed who had enrolled in TAP way back when. Since you didn’t follow through, it will just be dismissed on their end.
Any transfer student receive the regent scholaships invitation email yet?
