With well over 100k freshman and transfer applications for this yr, based on last years stats look like 26% admit rate. So about 1 in 4 will get in:

are there any other TFT majors in this forum? I called the school yesterday and they said they will be sending out our decisions via e-mail by the end of March/ the beginning of April. I’m hoping for Friday but we’ll see. NOTE: TFT decisions will only come via e-mail, not portal. It will be on the portal on the same day as the rest of the decisions (if, I understood correctly.)
@MiniGrace11 Wow end of March/beginning of April?? That’s so soon! As in just days away… if not today! I wonder why they are sending TFT transfer decisions out so soon now. Anxiety rising lol
@northremembers yeah, right?! I think they send them out early because most film majors apply to places out of state and private schools so they want to send out decisions at the same time as the other schools so that people have all their options at one time and can make their decision based off of all their acceptances rather than just getting excited and committing to the first one.
@MiniGrace11 do you think theyll send out all majors or just TFT majors that soon??
@5HisLife that’s what the student services employee told me. I made sure to ask specifically about TRANSFERS She explicitly said “the end of this month or the beginning of next month.” I am assuming that we will get them either this Friday or next. @itsjackiee also got an email saying that the undergrad decisions would be out by late March/ early April. Since freshmen already got their decisions, only transfers are left to notify. You could try calling again and seeing if we all get the same answer (or maybe at this point they’ll give you the date)? I think that of all 3 of us get the same answer, it’s most likely correct. Unless the same person just keeps giving out the wrong information. lol
So… just TFT majors.

Does UCLA ever release admission decisions earlier than the posted date, or do they generally stick to it? (Not talking about you laaaame TFT majors!! Jealous…) UCSD has already sent out some, and they weren’t supposed to until April 20th-ish.

@lexluther96 I actually looked for that answer today and I’m sorry to say that unfortunately, they do not release admissions decisions earlier than the posted dates. I believe the only majors that can get earlier decisions are those that send in supplemental essays/portfolios or have auditions! 
Maybe they can if they wanted to, but typically they wait until the third Friday of April.Good luck, though!
Hey guys, so I literally just found this thread last night and read all of the messages because I felt super paranoid all of a sudden about my chances of getting into UCLA. I will say that you all sound like amazing students! I admire all of the blood, sweat, and tears that you’ve shared. You guys really inspired me! I decided to hop on board and make an account because I wanted to be a part of this little community, haha (sorry if I’m a bit too late). Shoutout to @mightyMETA for that super impressive list you made with everyone’s majors and such. Anyways, I can’t believe that decisions roll out in less than a month! How are you all holding up??

@lostar I haven’t slept in days and my family is avoiding me because they said I talk about UCLA too much…but I think my sanity is still slightly intact so I’d say I’m okay! how are you? Welcome to the UCLA transfer fam 
@MiniGrace11 Haha, I actually need more people to talk about UCLA with! I feel like my anxiety is just going through the roof! I need to remind myself to just focus on the present and take it one day at a time. And thank you, I’m glad to be a part of this experience

Sometimes I find it hard to focus on my current workload because I’m just thinking about admissions… haha
When do Regents invites usually roll out? Or has that happened already? (idk why the heck I’m worrying about it cause I’m probably not getting one anyway lol)
