Fall 2017 UCSD transfer, what are my chances?

I decided to leave CSULA to attend my local community college, so I could have a better chance to transfer to a more rigorous institution, such as my dream school since the 5th grade, UCSD. After attending this school for a year, I knew it would reflect poorly on my med school application, and I found myself losing motivation. Although most say your undergraduate institution does not play a substantial role in med school admission, I knew an A at CSULA is most certainly not equivalent to an A at UCLA.

So considering my stats, some feedback about my chances, or success stories would be greatly appreciated, as I am very nervous and eager.

Applying to UCI and UCSD (if I don’t get in this year, I will apply next year with more back up schools)
Major: General biology
GPA: 3.4 :frowning:
E.C.'s: Have been in the COPE Health Scholar program accredited by the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health for a year, have worked on the cardiac unit, E.R., and oncology, and have racked up a little over 200 hours.
Work: Part time job at Albertson’s
Ultimate goal: Med school

You can look up the admitted Transfer GPA by UC campus and major to see where you stand.

Yeah I have reviewed all the official stats available about 5 million times. I am extremely anxious and hopeful to get in, so I was more looking to draw upon some personal experience from a real human rather than more statistics, thanks anyway.
