@jawbzzz Oh wow, well I guess that means there is hope for us! I really hope that they will accept us without it, and allow us to take it in the summer. I would hate to wait a year to apply again over one class 
I will definitely keep you updated on my application, and please do the same. I know, I’m still confused as to why business majors have to take Cal 2. I was hoping business cal would be enough haha. I’m dreading taking it also, especially in the summer when everything is accelerated and condensed. Good luck and keep me updated

CS major. The condition said I have to complete my CS Java class with grade B or better, and maintain 3.40 GPA
@nat2570 waaay earlier in this forum someone mentioned that in past admissions, a lot of tag/honors students were notified first mid/late march & regular admissions started mid-april & continued on a rolling basis until the end of april. this is not guranteed, just a hypothesis based on past admissions, but hey anything is possible! it could start earlier this year
Update: After speaking to an admission counselor, my TAG will be voided. I will update the thread when my admission is released. I am expecting a rejection now.

Wait, some of you guys got a letter of acceptance the past few days? I thought UCI said we would get admission decisions through our portal?
@HarleyTheQuinn correct! you’re first notified through the portal & then about a week later an official acceptance letter arrives in the mail. i was part of the march 20th acceptances & received the letter last thursday
@matchamilktea I’m still bitter that I got mine on Friday lol
